About L4L Biology

L4L Biology is an independent practice and mastery tool for students taking first-year biology (BIOL 112 and BIOL 121) at UBC Vancouver.

Original content. Every question, explanation, diagram and flashcard is written for this platform and checked by a biology reviewer. We never copy course exams, quizzes, Mastery Learning Modules, slides or textbook problems. Our topic lists are aligned to publicly posted course learning objectives, written in our own words.

BIOL 121 note. No current BIOL 121 syllabus is publicly posted, so the BIOL 121 map is provisional and based on the published course goals and learning outcomes. Hide anything your class doesn't cover.

Academic integrity. Use this to study — never during graded quizzes, MLMs, iClicker questions or exams.

Found a mistake? Use “Report a problem” on any question. Items with several reports are pulled automatically until a reviewer checks them.
